Position Available : [WS] Infrastructure Services - Senior Engineer (SG)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for handling game services such as perform scheduled server maintenance, game patches updates, game client compilation, backup, liaises with game developer with all technical matters and provides game services monitoring.
- Provide on system security and network infrastructure
- Responsible for setup, installing, maintaining and troubleshoot company core services and game servers in window and linux OS platforms.
- Provide fault resolution and escalation.
- Responsible for maintain the Data Canters’ Server Farms and assist supervisor and senior on any deployment including ad hoc daily operations. Undertake projects on new or existing system/network implementation and enhancement.
- Liaising and coordinating with IT vendors in procurement of IT equipment as well as maintenance of inventory control.
- Maintaining and updating technical support document, IT report and policy.
- Providing 24 X 7 supports whenever required by the company, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of relevant working experience in System Security and Network
- CCNA is a must – Experience and good knowledge in Linux or Unix Platform and Cisco IOS is added advantage.
- Preferable knowledgeable in virtualization techniques and system administration, network security skills.
- Proficient in PC hardware, MS Windows network, office software packages, network security issues and email system.
- Candidate must have good knowledge of data networking, Internet connectivity, firewalls and VPN.
- Mature and positive attitude; strong sense of quality and responsibility; able to work well in a fast-paced, multi-cultured dynamic environment.
- Able to work long hours and under pressure.
