Asiasoft Carried Out Operation Full Fire Assault for Sudden Attack Official Launch

23rd March 2009, Singapore – More than 32 teams of 5 members were drafted to fight the Full Fire Assault Operations at Sudden Attack official launch in Game Haven, 29 Carpenter Street on 21st March 2009 (Saturday). AsiaSoft, the leading publisher of Massively-Multiplayer Online Games (MMOGs) in Southeast Asia held its first-ever tournament to reward the public and gaming communities with a record amount of S$10,000 in cash and prizes proudly sponsored by Audio-Technica and Razer and kicked start a series of exciting activities and game competitions for all.

The tournament attracted overwhelming First-Person Shooter (FPS) clans and individuals of different nationalities who arrived in swarms to mark the Sudden Attack official launch, battling it out for the top prize. Team Soshi emerged the overall champion as they thrashed the rest of the 31 teams in single elimination rounds. Team SWAT and Team Korea came in 2nd and 3rd placing for the tournament respectively. The most notable achievement was Team Korea as they are made up of different nationalities; 2 Koreans, 1 Chinese and 2 Singaporeans, who met and formed the team to get to second runner-up at the event. All the winners walked away with cash and prizes worth S$10,000 from Asiasoft, Audio-Technica and Razer.

Other activities at the official launch included the “Vote my favorite SA Babe Contest”, an autograph session with Sudden Attack calendar babes and a media challenge between Singapore and Malaysia teams. New sign-ups received exclusive premiums and in-game items. There were also special promotions for all players and SAFRA members to buy Audio-Technica products at the event.

From the start of April 2009, a series of Sudden Attack Tournaments will be held every week by Asiasoft @Cafe partners, leading up to monthly battles organized by Asiasoft.
